O Maxi!

Dress: Dorothy Perkins, Clutch: Satya Paul, Shoes: Pratinava

While the photographer asks me to pose like a teapot at seven o’ clock in the morning, The aroma from the patisserie right in front of me is making me want to leave everything right away and stuff my face with some delicious cupcakes and freshly brewed coffee. I then, talk to myself in my mind and make myself understand that I am already 6 Kgs up my average weight and how I need to stop thinking of food all the time.

I persuaded myself not to cross the road, 10 minutes later, I took a quick break between the shoot, stuffed my already bloated face and came back all happy to complete the rest of the shoot.

I wore this dress last week for a friend’s birthday get-together. I love maxi dresses; they make me feel extremely comfortable. It’s almost like I am in my PJs. This one has the right amount of peek-a-boo and the right amount of shimmer to be worn at a get-together! The Clutch bag goes well with Indian wear conjointly, My mom got it for my trousseau two years back.

Quirky as it gets!

Jacket: Quirk Box, Watch: GC, Necklace: Accessorize, Bag: Cord, Maalgaadi, Shoes: Vaph, Top: Veromoda

I am an ardent lover of offbeat and fun things. Life gets dull and boring at times and having quirky, and colorful things around can amp up one’s life and add the much-needed drama!
Quirk Box is one such label that has added vibrant color to my wardrobe with their fun and artsy prints, and it’s been a part of my life for quite some time now, and I am totally in love with it. This boyfriend jacket was my first buy from them, and it’s still my hot favorite. You can pair it with a black dress, gold statement neckpiece and red lips for a night out or with a pair of shorts for a casual day out just like I did, and it will never fail you.
Let me know your personal style, in the comments section below. Would love to hear from you.

The good life

Pants: Zara, Top: thelabellife.com, Bag: Coach, Choker: Lovisa, Singapore, On my lips: Dolce by Stila, Heels: Aldo

I flew down to Bombay this week just for a day to see a friend. As much as I love airports and flying to different places, It’s almost frustrating if you get a co-passenger who is cribbing about almost everything on the flight. She wants to speak to the captain to know about the delay; She isn’t happy about the food, She is invariably cribbing about the leg space etc. etc.
Well- Helloooh! There is someone on your right who force-fed herself & force dressed at 4.30 A.M to catch this early morning flight and wants a peaceful sleep!
I wore this outfit that day. Very simple yet very stylishly chic! It was love at first sight when I came across this off-shoulder top at thelabellife.com. For people who don’t know much about this website, It’s an online store by the very famous, Sussane Khan, Malaika Arora Khan & Bipasha Basu.
I picked these high waisted pants up on my recent trip to the mall. I had been looking for these for a long time, and as soon as I entered Zara, the first thing I got my eyes on were these pants. Extremely comfortable and chic!
To add a bit of detail to my outfit, I wore a thin black beaded choker which I bought from my last trip to Singapore.
