Birdie num num

Top: Quirk box, Leggings:, Shoes: Dorothy Perkins, Sling Bag: Michael Kors, Necklace: Accessorize, Earrings: Lovisa, Singapore

This shirt is one of my current favourites!
How I love it so much!
I wish I was a bird and could fly wherever whenever. There are days when you just want to take off to a land far away. Away from all the chaos and rat race. Sometimes I wonder how birds are so lucky; they don’t have to be at one place at all! How would it be if humans had wings? Could get further more chaotic, Maybe.

Let’s talk about the outfit, This shirt has birds printed all over, oh so lovely birds, the Fabric is so soft and light, one wants to sleep in it. I wore this shirt with cut-out leggings, They seemed to be perfect and look effortlessly edgy!

The ripped legging trend is blowing up. Whether you are game athleisure or not, this trend isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
There was a time when I was totally over leggings, but I can’t deny how functional they are and super handy on the days you just have about 10 minutes to dress up (which is the case with me, most of the times). If you are over leggings just like me but can’t get rid of them, try on the modernised pair!
Also, I matched my footwear with my sling bag which is usually rare for me but this time I gave in because I wanted a contemporary look.

black is black

A-line skirt (worn as a dress): AND,  Jacket: Vero Moda marquee by Karan Johar, Brooches: Accessorize, Necklace: Forever21, Shoes: Zara

There is so much happening around with all the shifting back to Delhi bit. Doing up the new house, Taking care of all that husband needs. It’s almost like a roller coaster. Chennai, on the other hand, was so relaxed, there wasn’t much to do there. But I love Delhi, its home, and no one can change that!

Regardless, the black dress you see in the pictures is not a dress; It’s an a-line skirt! I was on a Holiday to Italy this year and wanted to travel light so I could shop there and fill my bag with new stuff, since I was traveling light, I took pieces from my wardrobe which could be worn in more than just one way. This skirt was one of them. I love how I can wear it both ways. I paired it up with a blazer just to make it a little dressy. Since a pop of color never harms, I wore Zara color block heels and finished it off with a minimalistic necklace and brooch, adding a little bit of detail.

My first review is going to be of the two products that I use every day and are my current favourites!
Winters are here, and I have a major problem of chapped & flaky lips. I am sure this post will help a few of you with a similar issue.
Bubblegum lip scrub by LUSH
It Smoothens and softens the lips with its delicious bubblegum flavour. It’s got castor sugar which helps exfoliate the flaky skin while the organic jojoba oil moisturises your lips and makes them super supple!
Take a pea size product on your finger and rub it gently on your lips for about 8-10 seconds.
Once done, you can lick it off! Yes, it’s edible, and it’s yummy!
Bbo Bbo Lip Balm by TONYMOLY
I bought this product just for the packaging while I was in Florence this year. Isn’t it super cute? It contains Vitamin E and blueberry extracts which work well for me. After I am done with my lip exfoliation, I just swipe a bit of it on my lips to keep them further moisturised.
It’s a Korean brand, Bbo Bbo in Korean means ‘KISS’, fits well!
You can find both the products online on
Also, I would love for you to tell me your lip care regimen in the comments section below or you could also email me at
Have an excellent day! xx

The white effect

Dress: Zara, Jacket: Quirk Box, Bag: Furla, Shoes: Addidas

This white dress makes me want to take a trip to Santorini, Greece!
I bought it for a theme party but never wore it. I was based out of Chennai for a year and ended up putting on a few kilos during my stay there (I am sure half of you know this by now), leaving myself with no option but pick up a shift dress. I am sluggish when it comes to working out and have yet to shed all the weight that I gained during my stay in Chennai. Ahh! Talking about it makes me miss the place and the yummy coastal food.
Moving on, Shift dresses usually lack detailed shaping that helps you hide those extra kilos. A must have in every wardrobe, for the times you would want to cover up the holiday weight you just gained!
Hasta la vista!

Floral on Stripe

Floral Jacket: Quirk box, Dress: Dorothy Perkins, Shoes: Aldo, Necklace: Vero moda, Earrings: Accessorize

Today consisted of a hair spa session followed by lunch at my favorite restaurant with a friend. There was a time when I had a small appetite and couldn’t even finish a small burger by myself. Now, all I can think of is food!
This one is a classic black and white stripe skater dress which might look a little drab to a few; I layered a mosaic floral jacket on top which made it go from drab to fab in seconds! The Fabric of the jacket is the extremely light weight which makes it perfect for the summer. One doesn’t feel that there is a dual layer. Since the outfit has a decent amount of color, I paired it up with nude pumps to make it neutral.
You can find this Jacket here on Amazon.
